ADEPT'S ODE
Old-English (17th century) poetry on new music of modern times, with a timeless character.
"By an intricate series of coincidences, we ‘discoverd’ that a great deal of old poetry does not only touch
absolutely timeless themes in a timeless way, but can also be arranged to modern popular music. Even more so,
we found that working with these rather archaic texts - sometimes having to dig up old dictionaries to find the
official pronounciation of words gone extinct - gave a thourough understanding of their most essential meaning.
These discoveries led to the decision to compose and record a complete album filled with,
in this particular case, seventeenth century English poetry."
