GREENLAND
Here’s my new (2022) album GREENLAND, containing 16 neo-classical (chillout) piano compositions. written while inspired by nature & landscapes from Greenland and worried about this country’s temperature rises at twice the global rate due to the climate change. This album is my way of saying a prayer hoping things will cool down a bit on earth, specially at the Arctic.
Bart Soeters is accompanying on the bass on almost all tracks.
My brother Daan Holtackers joins for the quatre mains composition Borglum Elv River. The final track is the same composition as the first track, but now in a (Lemon Sharks) trio version with violinist Johan Olof and on bass again Bart Soeters.
Ulilissat won an IndabaMusic award in 2012
